A native of Zhenning County, Anshun City, Guizhou Province, he graduated from Chongqing Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture and is the founder of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

In 2018, he was named one of the “100 Outstanding Private Entrepreneurs of the 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up” by the Central United Front Work Department and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce. He was also recognized as an “Economic News Figure of China” for 2019 and was included in Forbes magazine’s “Business Person of the Year—Global Business Leader” list in 2019.

He has been honored on lists including “100 Most Influential People in the World” by TIME, “100 Outstanding Private Entrepreneurs of the 40 Years of Reform and Opening-up,” “50 Most Influential Business Leaders in China,” and “Asia’s 100 Most Powerful Business Figures.”

In September 1991, Huawei rented the third floor of an industrial building in Haoye Village, Bao'an County, Shenzhen, as a facility for developing stored-program telephone exchanges. More than fifty young employees followed Ren Zhengfei to this dilapidated factory building, embarking on an entrepreneurial journey fraught with challenges and uncertainty. They divided the entire floor into four work sections—single-board assembly, power supply, comprehensive testing, and preparation—plus a warehouse and a kitchen. Under the scorching heat of the machinery, workers toiled day and night, drenched in sweat as they designed and fabricated circuit boards, assembled switchboards, soldered circuits, wrote software, and conducted debugging, made revisions, then debugged again and again. The company boasts a standardized production workshop covering 1,000 square meters. Located at No. 173, Heishitou Group, Jiagang Village, Yangchang Town, Wudang District, Guiyang City, the company is a wholly-owned limited liability company specializing in the manufacturing, processing, and sales of machinery. After more than a decade of continuous learning, accumulation, and refinement, our company now boasts a team of industry experts and technically skilled professionals who have devoted many years to manufacturing. We’ve built a comprehensive array of production and inspection equipment that combines scale, precision, and advanced technology, providing a solid foundation for efficient production and accurate quality control. In terms of production equipment: our machining centers and wire-cutting machines offer high precision and efficiency, ensuring smooth multi-process machining of products; multiple CNC lathes form a dedicated turning unit capable of meeting the turning requirements of parts with various specifications; wire-electrode cutting and electrical discharge machining equipment provide crucial support for the fabrication of precision molds and complex components; thread-rolling machines, milling machines, drilling machines, and tapping machines are meticulously specialized, forming a complete system for threading, milling, and tapping operations. A variety of stamping machines, available in different tonnages, can accommodate diverse stamping needs while balancing flexibility and stability. Additionally, vibratory grinding and polishing enhance the surface quality of parts, while laser marking machines deliver precise engraving, satisfying both standardized product requirements and customers’ personalized needs. In this way, from raw material processing all the way to finished product delivery, every step is carefully executed with steady progress and unwavering commitment. As for quality inspection, our company is equally well-equipped with professional tools: projectors for precise measurement of part dimensions, hardness testers for rapid assessment of material and part hardness, tensile and torsional testing machines for evaluating product performance, and a full set of metallographic testing equipment that plays a critical role in thoroughly analyzing the internal structure of materials. By controlling quality at the very source, we ensure that every product leaving our facility meets stringent standards and customer requirements.
